SENDING LOVE

CARD ASome of the people I love most live in other cities, other states, other countries. I send emails a lot, often postcards, the occasional care package (most recent destination - Sweden), and sometimes long, handwritten letters. I buy cards whenever i see them, always wanting a few in store. It's nice to find just the right card for someone, not those last-minute, this-was-the-least-ugly-one-available cards. I came across Ferme a Papier the other day and am readying for an order. So many lovely colours and words and prints to chose from, a little hard to know where to start…CARD B

A HAPPY DEATH

I've mentioned my dear and talented friends before, but with their current release I just have to give another shout-out.

AHD Paper Co is the work of the Towns, a savvy young couple with impeccable taste and a whole lot of hard work up their sleeves. In stationery as in their hearts, they believe a life well used brings a happy death (AHD).

My obsession with paper, with writing letters and notes, goes way back. I have a whole vintage suitcase of cards and postcards under my bed, full of tissue paper and old stamps I love to send on, and now a whole stack of their beautiful work. I love that I get to own a little bit of the amazing Mark Drew and the dreamy Beth Hoeckel. I'm obsessed with Billie Justice Thomson's pink bow and I loved Leah Goren's work so much I bought her silk cat scarf (and I'm not even a cat person).

Their newest selection is another special one. The lovely Hollie Martin is a real favourite for me, and I can't wait to give someone I love this brilliant Ray Young Chu dinosaur!RAY YOUNG CHUAll cards, and some amazing POSTER WRAP are available over here on their website...
