BCI talked with a friend the other day about finding the good. Trying to make the most of the day, finding the gold in between it all, and when you can't find it, making it. Today I had to make it.

It's been a long and hard week, but instead of collapsing in a heap, I went out for a drink and some cheap Chinese last night with a good friend. And today, instead of sleeping in I got up early. I went for a run at Centennial Park with the horses, had a latte and two loads of washing on the line by 9, and found myself in my kitchen listening to Bear Creek, my new very favourite. It was sunny, the windows were open, and I made eggs on toast and sang my heart out. If you happen to like country like I like country,  then Hard Way Home is where you find the good.
