My new Monday night ritual is REVELATOR. I was talking to my good friend Jeanne about it last week (she is also on the bandwagon) and it seems we both sit around the computer at home on a Monday evening, streaming the program like it's a wireless and we're listening to a radio show in the 50s, which I think makes it all the better. The beautiful Emma Swift pulls together some of the best and all of it my cup of tea. It is 'a show dedicated to sourcing bittersweet melodies and lonesome lyrics from folk, alt-country, Americana, roots, rockabilly and folk rock'. And as you can imagine, I can't get enough. I was busy last night so looking forward to downloading it to brighten up my Tuesday (as bright as twangy, heartbreaking country can be, anyway).
