Designer Tara Hurst puts together some really lovely interviews with a whole range of creatives over on her journal. I recently came across her Q and A with painter Clare Elsaesser who I had been following on Etsy for a while and was inspired to go ahead and order the print I'd been heart-ing for so long. It arrived last month and I couldn't be happier with it. The colour has come up wonderfully, and I love the soft tones and lines. It's such a lovely thing, to get a peak into another creative's world and process, to know a little of what inspires them and what drives them. I've said it before, but I also love seeing their space and how these ideas come together.
One of my new years resolutions was to have all my stuff framed professionally. I've already had one batch of six pieces mounted and hung, and this beauty will most certainly be inthe next lot.
